ASSIST Training - Suicide Intervention
Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training
A comprehensive, coordinated and integrated suicide intervention training program. ASSIST is research-based and reflects current best-practice in suicide intervention. It is the result of more than 20 years of research and development and is the most widely used suicide intervention program in the world.
This two day (15 hours) LivingWorks training provides
practical suicide first-aid training for all types of caregivers. Learn how
to recognize opportunities to help, assess risk of suicide, apply a suicide
intervention model and practice skills.
Courses April, May, September and November at the Canadian Mental Health Association, Hamilton Branch.
